In a long Facebook post and video, Sonko has revealed that a company called Icecure Medical has a technology which is capable of freezing cancer cells in the body of a cancer patient.

"From the presentation sent to me, the technology treats and cures cancer within a day by freezing cancer cells using a special device," said Sonko.

"Thanks to our technology, we can freeze tumors from different types and sizes. The earlier the patient is diagnosed, the smaller the tumor is, the faster and more efficient the treatment would be. Once frozen the tumor becomes inactive. Then the body performs its natural role of eliminating the dead cells," said Tlalit Bussi Tel-Tzure, the Marketing Vice President of Icecure Medical.

The city boss has pledged to sponsor a total of 10 cancer patients from Nairobi to Israel to go test the technology.

"To pilot the technology, I am willing to sponsor 10 cancer patients from 10 sub-counties in Nairobi to Israel as a case study," said Sonko who is Israel's Kenyan Good Deeds Ambassador.

If the system works, Sonko has vowed to have a group of doctors from Kenya go get trained on how to use the technology. After that, he said that he will import the technology to be installed in various Kenya hospitals.

Cancer has claimed the lives of many people in Kenya including leaders with billions of money.
