Last week, Jumwa, who has been courting DP William Ruto, insisted that he is still in good terms with her party leader Raila Odinga adding that her position was virtue of coast's contributions to the party.

"I am in good terms with my party leader. I sit in PSC courtesy our coastal region's contributions in the party. We were not invited in ODM," she said.

And this resulted to Minority Whip Junet Mohammed's decision to write to the speaker seeking the process of her removal.

With the handshake on the table and reduced friction between Jubilee and ODM, Jumwa's position in PSC remains untenable as the party officially initiates removal process.

"The procedure of removal of the commissioner under 127(2) of the constitution is through a motion of the removal of the commissioner to the house.

"And passage in terms of article 122of teh constitution which is through a simple majority in the house," wrote Muturi in response to Mohammed's letter.

During the election of PSC commissioners, ODM sacrificed vocal Hoam Bay Women Rep Gladys Wanga for Jumwa du to regional balance.

He removal would see Likoni MP Mishi Mboko or Mrs. Wanga getting a lifeline in the commission after aborted attempts.
