An angry man has beaten his 17-year-old daughter for allegedly admitting her boyfriend into her bedroom.
The incident happened on Tuesday evening at Manga in Nyamira County.
Stephen Okindo said he returned home at 4 pm when he busted his daughter, a form 2, with her form 3 boyfriend in the bedroom doing 'bad manners'.
"I didn't believe my eyes when I caught my daughter with her lover in bedroom engaging in sex instead of doing her holiday studies. I beat her thoroughly," he admitted.
Angered Okindo said he chased after the boyfriend in vain.
"He was lucky he escaped into a neighbouring bushy tea farm. I could have chopped his manhood," he noted.
A local chief Moses Onsongo regretted that school going children have ventured into sex instead of concentrating in studies.
He urged parents to be more vigilant to ensure their children don't engage in sex at tender ages.
"School going children must complete education before engaging in sex. It is high time for parents to play their responsibilities," Onsongo noted.
The administrator confirmed that the boyfriend is being traced for punishment.
