According to Tobiko, there are no cracks in cabinet following Matiang'i's elevation.

"It is sad that some individuals are playing politics just because President Uhuru Kenyatta promoted Matiang'i. Matiang'i deserved the promotion and he is the supervisor of national government projects," he said.

Mr Tobiko assured that Cabinet secretaries are ready and willing to work under Dr Matiang'i.

"We respect the president's decision to promote Matiang'i to be the overall supervise. We will work under Matiang'i for the sake of helping the president to implement the Big 4 Agenda," he added.

He refuted claims that Matiang'i elevation is a blow to Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 State House bid.

"Matiang'i's promotion has nothing to do with DP Ruto presidency in 2022. Politicians should stop retrogressive politics meant to cause confusion in the country," said Tobiko.

Mr Tobiko insisted the need for Jubilee and NASA politicians to join hands and push the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).

"We must be at the front line as leaders to ensure the country is united. Politicians whether in opposition or government should support Uhuru-Raila's BBI," he noted.
