Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has challenged fresh graduates to take advantage of their knowledge to prosper.

Speaking on Friday when he attended a graduation ceremony at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), the Maendeleo Chap Chap leader challenged graduates to explore different job opportunities.

He reminded them that opportunities are all over Kenya, adding that he will continue supporting youth in pursuit of their dreams as long as he remains in power.

“To all graduating, do not give up HOPE. Some of us care. I promise you that I will continue working hard and smart to make Kenya an even  greater country and your lives better so that you may be happier and have more money in your pockets,” he said.

Mutua is also a happy man after his wife Lilian Ng’ang’a graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Project Management  from JKUAT.

The second term county boss congratulated his wife for making him proud after months of hard work and toiling. 

He said that he was indeed grateful following her exemplary performance.

“Second, I am especially happy that the love of my life, LILLIAN, is among the students graduating with a Masters of Science degree in Project Management. She makes me very proud as she graduates top of her class. Way to go Honey," he said.
