Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has asked foreign and local investors to set up businesses in the county.
Nyagarama while addressing members of the press on Thursday in Nyamira town during the launch of Nyamira Media Association assured that the has a conducive environment for business.
"Investors should not fear to invest in Nyamira because my government has done everything possible to provide a conducive environment for business people," he noted.
The governor confirmed that security in the county is tight.
"Nyamira county has a lot of police officers who patrol day and night protecting people and properties. Investors will be safe with their businesses in the region," said Nyagarama.
He called upon members of the press to stop reporting negatively about the county.
"Media personnel should stop reporting falsehood about my government because I am committed to serving the electorates. My office is open for journalists to get the information they want before sending to the public," he added.
Nyagarama also assured that he is ready to work with his rivals for the purpose of developing the county and boost lives of the people.
