Residents of Keumbu in Nyaribari Chache have asked authorities to apprehend and prosecute a 36-year-old woman who has turned her own house into a lodging.
According to locals, the woman identified as Brenda has been allowing underage boys and girls to engage in illicit sex.
"Brenda demands money ranging from KShs 50-200 from school going children before allowing them to do sex in her house. We want authorities to take action against Brenda failure to which immorality will be at the peak given that most students are on a long December holiday," said Mary Kemunto.
Another angry local Evans Mokua threatened that if local authorities won't take immediate action, locals will lynch Brenda.
"We are not going to condone Brenda to continue spoiling our children. The chief in collaboration with Nyumba Kumi officials should apprehend the woman and take her to court before we kill her," he noted.
Area assistant chief Edward Okeyo said he has already summoned Brenda to appear at his office.
"Brenda will report to my office today, Tuesday to explain why she has been allowing underage children to engage in sex in her own house. I detailed report shall be given thereafter," noted the chief.
