Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) MP Gladys Wanga has accused Nandi Governor Stephen Sang for uncontrolled hormones that drive him to flirt with young girls on social media.
In a televised press briefing, the Woman Rep accused Sang for sending love messages to young girls like he was a young a boy.
She was speaking in defense of Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho who is being linked to drugs by a number of Rift Valley politicians lead by Governor Sang.
Wanga said Sang is a poor manager of his own hormones.
"Governor Sang should concentrate on the girls he sends love messages to. We have seen the WhatsApp messages and we pity the people of Nandi for electing a young boy who can't control his hormones," claimed Gladys Wanga.
Wanga's claims are somehow wrong and unplanned.
First, Sang was sending a love message to someone who was never revealed to anyone.
In fact, the incident happened last year, six months ago, when the governor sent a six words message that landed to a county WhatsApp group in which the governor was a member.
The message read "You know I love you....right?", but it had addressed no one in the group.
When 'I love you' phrase is mentioned, what comes in some people's minds including law maker Wanga is intimacy.
Sang might have wanted to assure his children he loves them, his mother, his wife or any other person who deserves his love including Nandi County residents.
Even religious books say we should love one another, it is not always about hormones that men love, they are also human beings with feelings for their loved ones.
Wanga was totally wrong to use that stray love message to poke her finger at the governor.
