The Chief Justice David Maraga and his wife have been admitted at the War Memorial Hospital in Nakuru.

Maraga and the  wife were booked at the facility after they were involved in an accident at Ng'ata along the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.

The two were on their way to church from home when the accident occurred on Saturday morning.

Following the accident, President Uhuru Kenyatta issued a directive to the military to airlift the Chief Justice David Maraga and his wife to Nairobi for treatment.
