Deputy President William Ruto on Friday excited Kenyans with his new stand on matters that build the economy, social progress and talent nurturing during the State Concert.
He said that top leaders the Communication Authority of Kenya should nurture talent or, go home.
Ruto said he was shocked by the Communication Authority of Kenya (CAK) when they told him they were planning to set up a hotel other than nurturing talent.
"When I had a discussion with the Communication Authority of Kenya, they told me they wanted to put up a hotel. I asked, Communication Authority of Kenya, a hotel?" Ruto posed.
"I am telling the CAK to forget about putting up a hotel and invest that money in the talent and creative industry," he added.
"I know some of the Directors of the Communication Authority of Kenya (CAK) are here and you have listened to me loud and clear and you have your marching orders," Ruto said firmly.
The DP spoke during the State Concert following the coming to an end of the National Drama and Film Festival.
He presided over the event as President Uhuru Kenyatta is out on official duty in Mauritius.
