It was drama and shock on Monday night at Langas estate on the outskirts of Eldoret town after two students celebrated their birthdays while naked in a local joint, Paradise Bar.
Known only by the locals in the bar as Sammy and Janoo, the two who are said to be students of a local top tertiary institution are said to be regular attendants and had warned that they would celebrate their birthdays in their birthday suit to which the locals took it lightly.
The two lovebirds also took the day to by friends free alcohol as they together cut their birthday cake to mark their 26th and 22nd birthday respectively.
"Sammy and Janoo are regulars here and because it was their birthday party, we see nothing wrong with them celebrating their birthday naked. We wish them happy life ahead," Caroline Muthoni a bar attendant said.
With words spreading out, the joint was slightly brought to a standstill as people flocked in to at least catch a glimpse moment of their lifetime.
"I heard of this from a friend and because it's rare to witness such, I hurriedly came though I was a little bit late but managed to get some drinks in plenty, thanks to the two," Abraham Wachira said.
The joint could, however, resume to normalcy after birthday drinks were exhausted with several locals congratulating the two for their kindness on their birthdays.
