In an exclusive interview on Thursday, Ndile asked the politicians allied to the movements to stop engaging in the 2022 succession debate and instead devote their time to work for their electorates.

He slammed the politicians accusing them of abandoning their work to engage in baseless debates.

“It worries me when elected leaders who are supposed to give services to the people are involved in meaningless succession campaigns,” he said.

Ndile argued that the 'Tanga Tanga' and 'Kieleweke' teams are creating unnecessary political anxiety in the country.

“We are not ready for general elections and I think the politicians in 'Tanga Tanga' and 'Kieleweke' should be called to order by the president,” said Ndile.

The vocal politician said that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s development legacy risks being tainted by the two rival groups.

He urged Kenyans to take note of politicians who are engaging in early campaigns and kick them out during the 2022 general elections.

Ndile said that voters should be merciless and demand accountability from their elected leaders.

The former MP dissolved his TIP TIP party and merged with Jubilee in the run-up to the 2017 general election.

Ndile lost his bid for Mavoko MP but has promised to make another attempt in the 2022 polls.
