Bonchari MP John Oyioka has been asked to involve a team of experts in the planning committee to come up with a development plan for the constituency.
A section of locals said the constituency comprises of learned people who can advise the lawmaker in development matters.
"Mr. Oyioka must ensure he is consulting experts for the purpose of developing Bonchari. It is high time rogue people surrounding him keep off," said Duncan Masese.
A political activist Cliff Real Musiq said a team of experts should go round doing research and public participation to know the priorities of the people and have a clear report on the benefits and disadvantages of initiating a project in a given place.
"The legislator should involve experts in various fields and this way we can achieve regional balance and equity in the distribution of resources across Bonchari. We are in a mess today because our leaders keep relying on being advised by selfish individuals who are 'stomach' oriented representing their own selfish interests rather than those of the constituents," he noted.
On Sunday, the MP met with leaders from Riana ward led by ERC CEO Mr. Pavel Robert Oimeke where the MP was asked to stop regional imbalance in development within the constituency.
