Speaking on Tuesday evening during an interview on Citizen TV, Wetangula blamed Raila for creating instability within the National Super Alliance.

This comes after Raila agreed to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta on March.

"It is, however, clear from history that Raila has been killing political parties. We worked with him in KANU he rocked it just like he did to National Rainbow Coalition. We worked with him in the Coalition of Reforms and Democracy and he literally killed it," Wetang'ula said.

He further accused Raila of dismantling CORD over unclear grounds leading to the formation of NASA.

"He said people were tired with CORD and I was not. He did not want to hold on the agreement to support Kalonzo in 2017 and the sure way to do it was kill the institution and all its agreements, " he said.

Wetangula's relationship with Raila strained after the March 9 handshake where he accused the latter of meeting with President Uhuru without consulting his NASA partners.
