Controversial popular gospel singer Alex Apoko popularly known as Ringtone has for yet again made headlines on social media.
This time, the singer was chased away from Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) on Sunday while on his wife hunting mission.
A section of the Kenyans on Social media believed Ringtone is not genuine about searching for a wife. According to this group of social media users, it is almost a sure bet that there are many ladies who are willing to be his partner but he is persisting with the search to attract attention.
Another group of Kenyans on Twitter suspect that Ringtone is just about to release a song that talks about good wives and hence the controversy is just a foundation for the song.
Ringtone’s popularity in the gospel music industry is gradually fading away and this may be his last desperate fight to regain his lost glory. Such controversy may be a good marketing strategy for a yet to be released song.
Some have however found Ringtone to be a nuisance and embarrassment to the gospel industry. They believe Ringtone has gone too far in trying to be controversial.
This is not the firs time that Ringtone has found himself in trouble while on his wife searching spree, a few days ago he was arrested while on the same mission at cooperative university in Karen.
