Former Starehe MP aspirant Boniface Mwangi does not expect President Uhuru Kenyatta to order for his arrest because he says he speaks the truth.
Mwangi who is a known human rights activist on Friday said the level of corruption and theft of public funds is so high that the president's continued silence may mean he is one of the thieves.
He challenged the commander in chief to come out clean over his allegation if he means well for Kenya.
"As a father of three l must, and l shall, speak up. We are already slaves of our own government and, now, we must all stand up together and say 'No' to the thieves," Mwangi said in a post in his official Facebook account.
"This is an angry rant from a taxpayer. If you, Uhuru, are not a thief then prove it. Fire all the thieves around you, ensure that the judiciary is well funded and all witnesses against your thieving friends are protected. Anything short of that is just mere public relations."
Uhuru has been under pressure to explain why corruption has hit unprecedented heights from the time he took over Kenya's leadership as president in 2013.
One of the latest of such graft incidents was the NYS scandal in which the taxpayer lost close to Sh10 billion.
