South Mugirango Member of Parliament Sylvanus Osoro has confessed that he mobilized residents in his constituency to chase Deputy President William Ruto with stones during the 2017 general elections campaigns.
The NASA rebel MP said DP Ruto had rough times when he visited the constituency to campaign for Jubilee Party and his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"I want to state clearly that personally, I organized for DP Ruto to be chased from South Mugirango when he came to campaign for Jubilee in 2017 when I was singing Tibiim and Tialala. Unfortunately, Jubilee party won 70 per cent of the votes in my own constituency even after chasing DP Ruto with stones," said Osoro.
The vocal lawmaker revealed that he later realized his mistakes and decided to join Deputy President William Ruto's 'Tanga Tanga' group.
"I'm a Tanga Tanga member fully supporting DP Ruto's ambition to become president in 2022. Kenyans need to support this man since he has proved his capability in leadership," noted the MP.
Osoro was elected on a NASA allied political party, Kenya National Congress (KNC) during the 2017 polls and he is serving his first term in office.
