Kenyans were happy about the move but many were not overly convinced that some cabinet ministers implicated with corruption are still in the office and only former sports CS Echesa was fired.

One of the cabinet secretary that the President himself publicly warned recently is Agricultural Minister Mwangi Kiunjuri and many expected that he will be among the first to be fired should the President do a reshuffle.

Speaking in a live Facebook show Banana peddler, South Mugirango legislator Sylvanus Osoro, who is a member of the parliamentary committee of agriculture,  urged that the two should not be compared since the President did not state reasons for firing Echesa and clearly Kiunjuri appears not to be as incompetent as Echesa.

He further said the money that has been lost in the Agricultural ministry,  most of the time when they grill the minister,  they find out that he has little knowledge of the scandals meaning junior employees in the ministry are responsible for the lost money.

However,  he also said CS Kiunjuri falls within the privileged community, hence he can't be easily fired.

"Kiunjuri falls within the privileged community. It is not very easy to fire Kiunjuri. When you are within the privileged community you can only be warned and finger-pointed in public," the legislator said.

The legislator insisted nothing will happen to CS Kiunjuri, In fact, he can be elevated to be superminister but any other person from another community could have been fired long ago.
