A section of Nyamira locals have demanded an explanation from Matiang'i over the presence of police officers.

"Matiang'i must be held accountable after a convoy of police vehicles with security officers accompanied the fake prophet in Nakuru. Police should be on high alert protecting people and property but, not attending demonic crusades," said a furious Manga resident Evans Nyachoti.

Another local Margaret Obwocha wondered why the government should sent police officers to guard Owour who is perceived to be a devil.

"Police officers are being misused by their bosses. It is high time Matiang'i should tell Kenyans how police officers found themselves at Owour's crusade guarding him," she noted.

Peter Achuti said threats by IG Boinnet are only meant to blackmail Kenyans.

"Boinnet is not going to do anything. Let Matiang'i come out clear because police officers who were spotted guarding Owour are working under him," noted Achuti.

He insisted that Owour should not be trusted with his fake supernatural powers.
