A Jubilee elected MP from Gusii region has fired shots to NASA leader Raila Odinga over the dams scandal.
Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i, while addressing mourners at the burial of Charles Matoke Nyamoko, brother to North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko, said Raila should mind his own business.
"Ruto should not be dragged into the lost billions in the dams scandal. The former Prime Minister should keep off Ruto's name because Ruto is busy helping his boss to deliver," he said.
The lawmaker claimed that Mr Odinga is out to split the ruling Jubilee party.
"He (Raila) is misusing the handshake to make Jubilee party collapse. His target is to have DP Ruto's presidential bid derailed," he stated.
Tong'i said Ruto should be respected because he is a peace loving person.
"Ruto respects other leaders, why should he be disrespected? It is high time leaders to consider giving Ruto his deserved respect because he is also a national leader," he added.
He maintained that Raila theatrics dragging innocent people into corruption allegations won't earn him any votes in 2022 whatsoever.
