A controversial video clip of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto has surfaced online.
In the video, Uhuru is seen engaging leaders as they bide him goodbye before ‘snubbing’ his deputy.
In the undated clip, the head of state enters into his guzzler to leave without shaking his deputy’s hand to bid him bye.
Why the President bid other figures in the team ‘kwaheri’ and not Ruto is what made netizens wonder if things are okay between the two leaders.
Ordinarily, when the President is received at functions or is escorted by delegations including the Deputy President, the DP becomes the last person to speak and shake hands with the President before he leaves.
Also, in the video, Ruto’s body language shows things were amiss.
After Uhuru snubbed him, he is seen walking away smiling sheepishly.
