Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo's interview on Citizen TV's JKL show has elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans.
Kabogo, who was on Wednesday hosted by Jeff Koinange, addressed a number of issues affecting the common mwananchi.
He decried the poor state of health services at the Kiambu Level Five Hospital, which has recently been on the spot following reports of poor service delivery.
"I feel pity when I see people suffering to get healthcare in Kiambu,” said Kabogo.
He noted that the county would have been in a better state had he been re-elected in the 2017 polls.
"If you give it back to me tomorrow, it would take me six years to get it back to where I left it," said Kabogo.
Kabogo at the same time declared interest in vying for president in the 2022 elections, noting that his desire is to serve Kenyans on the national level.
“I am not focused on local politics and my interest is to serve Kenyans on the national level,” he said.
"I may not run as Kabogo but as a group of like-minded individuals who mean well for this country. I may go for the presidency or be someone's running mate," he added.
