Investigations into the cause of the Ethiopian crash that led to the death of 157 persons have gained momentum.

The families and relatives of the victims are expected to get the DNA results after six months following the tragic incident.

While releasing a statement to the newsroom, the Ethiopian airline asked the members of the family to give their DNA samples at Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa to fasten the process.

 Some of the families have decided to bury logs following the demises of their loved ones. 

All the passengers who had boarded the plane perished after it developed mechanical issues along the way. 

The families had insisted to see the site of the air crash to confirm the death of their loved ones. 

“Personal belongings of the deceased will be returned to the NOK’s after proper verification approximately within two months,” read the statement in part, as quoted by Citizen.

China, American, and Ethiopian Airlines have grounded Boeng 737 MAX 8 following safety concerns. 

Families and leaders across the world have been urging the airline to come clean on what caused the airline to crash. 

The Ethiopian government has assured families of the victims of its commitment to ensuring they get justice following the deaths.
