Speaking on K24 on Sunday, Mr Sifuna contended that according to a pre-election pact among the National Super Alliance (NASA) parties, which are ODM, Amani National Congress (ANC) and Ford-Kenya, the money to be shared was to be based on the presidential elections.

According to the outspoken secretary general, the registrar of political parties said she would disburse the presidential election money as the election was annulled by the Supreme Court, therefore, ODM was not going to share the money it was going to receive as it would be disbursed based on other elections other than the presidential election.

"Every Kenyan knows that the results of the 2017 elections were annulled by the Supreme Court and the Registrar of Political Parties says that because the presidential election was nullified, she is not going to wire to ODMM the money for the presidential election. We only agreed to share the money for the presidential elections.

"The money we are going to receive is for the MCAs, Women Rep, and Gubernatorial elections. Those monies belong to ODM," said Mr Sifuna.

NASA affiliate parties have been locked in disagreements over the Sh4bn to be released to ODM.
