Popular TV presenter Willis Raburu on Monday took to Instagram to celebrate the third anniversary of the 10 over 10 show that airs on Citizen TV.
Raburu appreciated the people who contributed to building the show including his former colleague Joey Muthengi.
“Three years ago today! June 17th 2016 #10over10 was born. One day I’ll tell the story of how. I want to thank all of you for the support and the love and yes even the hate, all of it serves to keep us on our toes and to help deliver a better product each Friday. To @joeymuthengi I'm glad this show connected us my friend, you held it down 💯 Thanks for being super amazing,” read part of Raburu’s post on Instagram.
Raburu also went ahead to express his gratitude to the whole production team whose work he said has propelled the show to the top.
“It would be remiss if I don’t thank the amazing team behind us. Starting with the management at RMS. What you see is just the final product but it’s the team, that works behind the scenes and with us late into the night that makes us look good! Once again thank you to all our fans. Remember God loves you and that will NEVER change, and Successful people look like YOU!” he added.
Joey Muthengi who used to co-host the show with Raburu before she left the Royal Media Services-owned station took to the comment section to wish the show all the best.
“Been sitting here trying to find the words to post here...😪. Can't believe it's been that long. I was blessed to have met and worked with you. We hosted a great show and I wish you nothing but more success in the future,” Muthengi commented.
10 over 10 has risen to become one of the most watched TV shows in the country. Its uniqueness in delivering entertainment news, interviews with celebrities and live performances have earned the show popularity among Kenyans especially the youths.
