President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday said him and NASA leader Raila Odinga are peace 'preachers'.
The Head of State said he has been traversing the country in the company of Raila to preach peace, unity and harmony.
"I'm with my brother Raila Odinga. We have been going around the country preaching peace to our people after we agreed to work together following the historic handshake," he said.
Mr Kenyatta assured that his government will continue pushing for development across the country.
He also told off nurses who are demanding to be paid allowances.
"I want to put it clear here that nurses ongoing with strike won't be paid because there is no money. The money we have is meant for development but, not paying salaries. Nurses should consider going back to work," he added.
Mr Kenyatta urged State officers to be accountable.
"State officers should use public funds wisely. Anyone caught misusing money meant for development will face the full force of the law," said Uhuru.
He urged politicians to be at the front line championing for development to boost people's lives.
