Miguna who is known for his abrasiveness in a tweet Monday evening termed Matiang’i as an "irredeemable convict”.

"Mr. @FredMatiangi is an unrepentant and irredeemable convict who cannot "assist" the @JUDICIARYKENYA until he obeys the 13 valid court orders against him. He is an embodiment of the culture of impunity; a stench that pollutes our public sphere,” read his tweet.

His bitterness with the CS stems from his last deportation in March this year.

Miguna arrived on March 26 from Canada after his first deportation on February 6 over his involvement in the unofficial swearing in of Raila Odinga as the “people’s president” at Uhuru Park on January 30, 2018.

However, he declined to hand over his visa at the airport as is the procedure forcing the authorities to detain him.

What followed was a 72-hour drama which saw him being held incommunicado. His lawyers led by Senate Minority Leader James Orengo and Cliff Ombeta tried to secure his release but it was all in vain despite court orders stating that he should be released immediately.

Judge George Odunga later fined Matiang’i, the Inspector General of Police Joseph  Boinnet and the then Director of Immigration Services Gordon Kihalangwa, Sh200,000 each for disobeying court orders.

Since his deportation, he has fired salvos at a section of leaders, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila being among those in the firing line.
