Speaking on Tuesday, the MP argued that Uhuru appears to no longer be in control, which has given a number of his officials an opportunity to engage in political crimes, which might land him at the International Criminal Court (ICC) again.

He claimed Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho is one of the persons using public coffers to propagate division ahead of the 2022 polls, in a bid to lock out Deputy President William Ruto who is keen on succeeding Uhuru.

"The way things are going, I think they are out of your hands because your officials are using money to divide Kenyans," he said.

The lawmaker said that Uhuru will have to carry the burden in case of anything, and might not be as lucky as he was in his initial cases at the court where he was accused of engaging in crimes against humanity following the 2007/2008 clashes.

"God helped you and you did not go to the Hague. Please don't put yourself at the Hague again," he added.

Uhuru was taken to ICC alongside his Deputy President William Ruto over claims of playing a role in the clashes that emanated from the 2007 controversial presidential elections where retired President Mwai Kibaki secured reelection, defeating opposition boss Raila Odinga.

The cases have since collapsed.
