Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi now say that Deputy President William Ruto might be the anointed individual to take on State House.
In a YouTube video under the 5th Estate, Ngunyi stated that Ruto’s case can be compared to biblical times where God has never shown dependence on the perfect individual to deliver his will.
"This Christmas, I want to declare that I am a follower of the Carpenter from Nazareth. I am a believer in the Cross and its power. I am inspired by the birth of this truth-speaking Carpenter."Ruto is probably a thug or a mkora (crook)... We don't know! But God doesn't use perfect people, He likes the weak and imperfect," he stated.
"Even Mary the Mother of Christ suffered the shame of teenage pregnancy like our KCPE candidates. She was a virgin who got pregnant, it was a contradiction," Mutahi stated.
The analyst adds that Ruto is the opposite, something that will make him President in 2022.
Ruto is expected to vie the presidency under the Jubilee party in 2022.
Pundits are considering him as a major contender for the seat.
