The vocal lawmaker, in a tweet, said that he called on the CS at his office in Nairobi.

He said that the meeting was used to siscuss a wide range of infrastructural matters across tue country and in Luo Nyanza, among them roads and other transport means.

He said that they also had deliberations on the limping ferry transport services on Lake Victoria, as well as his Ondoa Nyasi initiative which has so far seen many poor women in his constituency get new houses.

"Early Morning, called on CS James Macharia of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development. We had a good meeting discussing roads, water transport and navigation, government ferry services in Lake Victoria, and even the Ondoa Nyasi initiative, a harbinger of good tidings," he wrote.

The Ondoa Nyasi initiative seeks to help widowed women in Rarieda, with the MP on most occasions going to the ground and physically participating in the demolition of old houses and construction of new ones.
