There was drama on Wednesday evening at Keroka township, Nyamira County after a matatu driver was caught pants down with a married woman in a lodging.
Witnesses said Vincent Ariemo, a matatu driver along Kisii-Ikonge route, entered the lodging room in the company of the woman Elizabeth Moraa.
"Ariemo left the matatu at stage for passengers to board when he decided to have sex with Moraa in the lodging. Moraa's husband who is a hawker at the Keroka bus stop realized his wife was not at her M-Pesa shop and mobilized members of the public to search for her," said Nicholas Mong'iti.
Mr Mong'iti said the public stormed the lodging where the woman was spotted entering.
"It was shocking to find Moraa naked with Ariemo doing bad manners after she abandoned her M-Pesa shop. We canned them thoroughly before the driver managed to escape," he said.
Area chief Kennedy Ndege said this was not the first time Moraa was being caught with a man in a lodging.
"Moraa is unfaithful to her husband. Her cases have become too much humiliating and embarrassing her husband," he said.
