A matatu driver has been sacked for allegedly touching a woman's private parts.
The driver, Gilbert Soire attached to Premium Shuttles was sent home by the sacco's management after the woman, Celine Kemunto complained on Tuesday.
According to Kemunto, Soire touched her private parts claiming that she was sweet.
"I was boarding the matatu at Keroka stage when Soire approached men and touched my private parts. I was shocked and I had to alight and report him to the management," she said.
Kemunto said she wanted to file a suit in court on Wednesday but, the Sacco management pleaded with her.
Officer in charge at Keroka booking office, Francis Swanya regretted the incident and said Soire will not be re-hired back again.
"We are not going to allow Soire to come back to work since he lacked respect to our client who had even threatened to take him to court," he said.
He assured that disciplinary actions will be taken to any driver or work found harassing clients.
