However, there also exists a clique of others who have been perceived hard-headed and difficult to change their course.

1. Miguna Miguna

The former Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful is a native of Apondo, Kano Plains, Nyando constituency in Kisumu County is a friend to nobody.

He is known for his 'am not boarding' phrase which he made when he refused to board an aeroplane to exile during his deportation to Canada early last year.

Government attempts to have him reapply for his Kenyan nationality after getting a second Canadian nationality in the early 80s have been in vain.

On politics, he never seems to be a friend to anyone and is always hurling insults at anyone opposed to him. He is an enemy to both the ruling and opposing government wings.

2. Okoth Obado

The Migori governor is another man whose mode of politicking is difficult as he has demonstrated over the last few months, going back to attack the party on whose ticket he is in office.

In September last year, the Orange party's choice of Ochillo Ayako for the county senate seat and has also been labelled a rebel courtesy of his anti-ODM leader Raila Odinga moves.

Despite being proposed for expulsion from the party by the ODM disciplinary committee over his moves, he has remained defiant and seems to have refused to apologize.

His difficulty has seen him isolated by fellow Nyanza politicians, most of whom are loyal to Raila.

3. Raila Odinga

The former Prime Minister and Luo Nyanza kingpin has been difficult to crack since his heydays and was in the 90s arrested and detained over his defiance to the then ruling Nyayo regime.

He is yet to accept defeat in his latest 3 presidential bids and has always caused trouble after each and every loss.

In the opposition, Raila has always marshalled his millions of supporters to sabotage the government, making him a very difficult person to work around.

Currently, he has remained silent on whether or not he will vie for the presidency as pundits and Kenyans try to predict his next move.
