Former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama has denied claims that he intends to quit Wiper party.
Speaking at a burial ceremony in Mbusyani, Kangundo sub-county on Friday, Muthama said he has come along way with the Wiper's party leader.
"I said when I will leave Wiper party, I will go with what I came with and it's not my files but Kalonzo. As long as Kalonzo is in Wiper, I'm in Wiper to stay," Muthama said.
Muthama said until Kalonzo becomes presidency or dies, he will still offer him his unwavering support.
He maintained that Mathuki is unfit to deputize former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti.
Muthama rebuked leaders who came forward to abuse him after his remarks about the former East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP.
He refuted claims that he will vie for the gubernatorial seat in case of a by-election.
"Last year, I relinquished my seat to retain the dignity of the Kamba people and now is not the right time to vie for any seat, I'm qualified but not interested," Muthama added.
Muthama said Kalonzo is the only leader with the key to Kamba votes and no one can bag them without his blessings.
"Kalonzo is the only route to the hearts of Kamba people, there's no other Kamba leader apart from him. Let's learn to accept that," Muthama said.
