Speaking on Sunday,  the controversial MP said Mt Kenya voters are like orphans without shelter because Jubilee is not their house.

According to Daily Nation, Kuria fears it will be difficult for the region to strategize politically inside Jubilee.

“We erred when we dissolved our party, The National Alliance because Jubilee Party is an amorphous vehicle where we can’t plan about Mt Kenya through it," the MP said.

Kuria, who has announced his 2022 presidential bid, said he has plans to register a party for the region.

"I shall register a political party that Mt Kenya leaders will use to plan for our future stake in government,” Kuria added.

Kuria was speaking when he attended a church service in Maragua with a group of Jubilee leaders who decried the infighting being witnessed in Jubilee.

Murang'a Senator Irungu Kang'ata called on President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is Jubilee Party leader, to call a meeting a heal the situation in the ruling party.

“Our party is headed in a wrong direction because the two factions of Tanga Tanga and Kieleweke teams are creating hatred amongst their colleagues whom they perceive to be in rival camps,” the senator said.
