ODM deputy leader Hassan Joho on Tuesday dragged Deputy President William Ruto into Migori senatorial by-election.
In a jibe directed to Ruto, Joho however insisted that the ODM party will emerge victorious in the elections.
"We know you're funding Eddie Oketch. Your tricks are predictable but we shall show you dust," warned Joho at Suna East.
The Mombasa governor added: "Let us not allow Mr Ruto to upset Mr Odinga’s support base. All of you should remain united behind Mr Ayacko."
Both Ochillo Ayacko (ODM) and Eddie Oketch of Federal Party of Kenya are keen to fill the vacancy left by Ben Oluoch who succumbed to cancer.
For the past three days, ODM and Mr. Ruto have traded barbs openly with the latter accusing Raila Odinga of plotting to elbow him out of Jubilee.
"I know your tricks. You can't chase me out of ODM and expect the same to happen in Jubilee. Just forget about it," he had said.
Mr. Odinga will be visiting Migori on Thursday and Friday to wrap up the campaigns.
Embattled Migori Governor Okoth Obado, who is also believed to be working closely with Ruto, is rooting for Mr. Oketch despite being an ODM member.
