Governor Prof.Anyang Nyong'o has invited Alliance Boys High school alumni's and their families to a get-together event to be held in Kisumu County in March this year.
The county chief who is a former student of the school has described the aim of the event as a step towards building a united family.
Through his twitter handle, he invited all from the school amidst criticism that he was not considering matters at hand such as the nurses' strike which has been there since 4th of February.
"It's my pleasure to welcome all the Alliance High Sch Alumni's to a get together at Kisumu County. Karibu nyote." he wrote
The get-together event, which is set for 15th and 16th March, is bound to involve among other activities, discussion on bettering the country in policy formulation, development reorganization and building a unified country.
The participants will also contribute to charity work such as helping the poor in an initiative dubbed eradication of poverty in the society.
Among the recreational activities that will be part of the two-day event will be touring the county to have a glimpse of the beautiful scenery and transformation being spearheaded by the county boss himself.
There will be also hiking, playing golf among other events that will be organised by the team behind the mantle.
The county has been seeing transformations in the tourism industry, industrialization and transport meant to rejuvenate Kisumu and grow the great Lakeside county.
