North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko has told off ODM party leader Raila Odinga over the ongoing corruption war.
Nyamoko said Raila should not take advantage of the historic handshake to taint Deputy President William Ruto's name.
"As much as we are enjoying the fruits of handshake, I wish to remind the former prime minister that he should stop taking advantage of shaking hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta to see DP Ruto as an enemy. Ruto is a national leader who must be accorded respect by Raila," he said.
According to the vocal Jubilee lawmaker, Raila should stop unnecessary mentioning DP Ruto's name in graft war.
He said DP Ruto is a clean person and therefore, his name should not be the talk in corruption scandals.
"Ruto should not be seen as corrupt by Raila alone because the same Ruto was in opposition and there is no time Raila came out to tell Kenyans that Ruto is corrupt. Raila should tell Kenyans the truth about Ruto instead of dwelling much on lies," said Nyamoko.
Nyamoko made the remarks on Saturday when he joined other Gusii leaders to welcome DP Ruto at Gusii Stadium where he presided over a fund drive.
