Reports indicate that Gor Mahia players are pushing for improved contractual terms, to match their output on the pitch this season. On Tuesday, the team maintained its unbeaten record in the league after thrashing Posta Rangers 5-0 at the Moi stadium in Kisumu.

The team is scheduled to face Sony Sugar at the same venue on Friday. Club Chief Executive Officer (CEO) wants the players to respect their contracts despite registering good results in various competitions this season.

“A contract is a contract; when they came we gave them our terms and there was an agreement. They signed the contract meaning they were contented with what we were offering. Going against a written and signed document is a breach of contract and we can take action,” the CEO is quoted by Goal.com.

“The players and the technical bench received their allowances after winning the Super Cup, and if a player tells you otherwise then it is a lie,” added Aduda.

After Friday’s game against Sony, Gor Mahia contingent will travel to Tanzania for this year’s edition of the CECAFA Club Championships set to kick off on Sunday.

Elsewhere, the team will be ready to face Rayon Sports in the CECAFA tournament, with the first match scheduled for Sunday.

According to Coach Dylan Kerr, the fixtures are coming in fast, and they will need a good team to sail through the fixtures.

Rayon's coach, Brazilian Oliveira Goncalves, has warned his players that they will need to be at their best to beat the Kenyan Champions.

This is the second time the two teams will be meeting this year after they clashed again in the Caf Confederation Cup clash played barely two months ago in Kigali.
