The artist, who was recently invited to the United States of America, spoke about her past with passion and inspiration during an interview with the Standard.

The singer narrated how she started singing early in life and recorded her first album at the age of 11.

Surprisingly, the artist, who has won several awards in the industry, said that she never wanted to become famous at a tender age.

According to the singer, fame comes with responsibility and rising to the top at a younger age could have broken her down.

The singer also revealed that her parents were both teachers and they gave her the best in life.

She said that her parents were always travelling, which gave her room to train for her music.

She acknowledged that her parents gave her a platform to sing and attributes her success to their unwavering support.

“Of course when you are a kid you think you are the most important person in the world. So it made me feel like am the best musician in the world.

"My childhood set the pace for me. The same thing I would like to do for my kids. I keep praying every day that God leads me that I should guide my kids to grow their talents,” she said.

The singer also thanked God for the blessings she has been receiving since she joined the entertainment sector some time back.
