Shocking footage has emerged of a tuk-tuk driver attacking traffic police officers in what looks like the most dangerous traffic offence.
The video has been doing rounds on social media since Sunday evening, and it shows an exchange between traffic police officers and the tuk-tuk driver who seemed angered at what may have transpired just before the footage.
The exact location in which the incident happened is still unknown, but based on the ambience, the place is being linked to a section of the road from Nakuru to Section 8.
The footage clearly shows the driver engaging one of the officers in a physical fight before going back to his tuk-tuk.
He then enters his tuk-tuk and tries to run one of the officers over. He comes back after making a U-turn and exits the tuk-tuk.
Infuriated at ‘something unseen,’ he picks up stones and hurls them at the officers who have to run for their lives.
It remains unknown what becomes of the tuk-tuk driver in the coming days.
