Jumwa on Friday interrupted Sifuna's speech during the burial of Mombasa Deputy Governor William Kingi's father at Jilore, before taking away his microphone for politicizing the function.

But the governor has faulted the move, noting that the MP wrongly approached the matter and ended up embarrassing herself.

Speaking in Kibarani on Saturday during the burial of Kilifi Woman Representative Gertrude Mbeyu's father, Kingi told the vocal legislator that her current attitude cannot solve her issues with the ODM party.

"Aisha, you need to cool your temper. We know you are bitter but there are proper ways of dealing with [the problem] and getting good results. What you are currently doing won’t help,” the governor was quoted by the Nation.

In her rant after snatching the microphone, Jumwa accused Sifuna of disrespecting locals and the Mijikenda community.

This, apparently, has everything to do with her ongoing wrangles with the party, after she was expelled over her links with Deputy President William Ruto.
