Echesa was last week sacked by President Uhuru Kenyatta and has been trying to call out the president to explain the reasons why he ousted him in vain.

But speaking during a funeral service in his Shibale backyard over the weekend, he insisted that he has never involved himself in any corruption activity.

“If I have stolen anything belonging to any person, let the President tell Kenyans so that I am not asked this question every now and then,” he was quoted by the Sunday Nation.

The youthful politician was apparently speaking with regards to claims linking him to suspects who were weeks ago nabbed with fake money in Ruiru, Kiambu county.

He dared the Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Directorate of Public Prosecutions to arrest and prosecute him if they believe he was involved.

"Failing to clear the air means that I was targeted as a sacrificial lamb,” he added.

Echesa now suspects that is out as a result of his origin, considering that he is not part of the known political groups otherwise known as dynasties.
