A former Member of Parliament in Nyamira County allied to ODM party has lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta for snubbing Nyamira County during his last week tour to Kisii county.
Former Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire said Uhuru's Nyamira boycott was justifiable.
"Nyamira leaders led by Governor John Nyagarama should stop complaining about the Head of State's decision to snub Nyamira county last week when he toured Kisii County. He had to snub Nyamira because there is no tangible development he could have come to commission or launch," said the vocal ex-legislator.
Bosire, who doubles as the ODM party treasurer, warned Governor Nyagarama against blaming other leaders saying he is the one who has failed Nyamira electorates.
"The county boss should tell people of Nyamira what the president would have come to launch in Nyamira. The blame game must stop," he stated.
The ex-MP who has been a strong critic to the Jubilee government challenged leaders to pull up efforts and deliver.
"Electorates want service deliver and not empty words. Uhuru can be invited to Nyamira if development will be given a first priority," he added.
