Speaking in Nakuru town, shop steward Joshua Okoth said that the implementation was not agreed.

“The implementation was not out of an agreement between the company and the workers and we, therefore, call for a reversal of the salary cuts,” he said.

They called for the dismissal of HR officer Elijah Sitima to pave way for conclusive talks between their union and the company to find an amicable solution.

Nakuru G4S branch manager Francis Gathungu called on the officers to go back to work.

The G4S offices remained shut for the better part of the day as the workers remained put outside the offices waiting for further directions.
