Led by ODM youth leader, Dennis Marube, the youths claim that it is high time ODM leadership be changed.

"Our party needs some sanity. We will fight from within. Something needs to be done," he said.

According to Marube, if ODM party won't end sham nominations, opponents will only "sit and wait for ODM to nurture strong candidates" and poach them after sham nominations.

Beavon Magare said ODM party needs more women like Nyamira nominated MCA Carol Mogere.

"Ahead of 2022, women who know what they need to do for their party and county should be given an opportunity to join the party and support what the women league chair initiated. That's the truth," said Magare.

Abuga Makori, a politician-cum-media practitioner said it is the high time for a total overhaul to be done from the national to the grassroot level in 2022 elections.

"We must substitute lazy bigots with visionary and focused loyal people. The time for shenanigans in party primaries is over. The will of the people should carry the day," said Makori.
