A 38-year-old man has gone into hiding after his wife busted him with a neighbor’s wife having sex on Thursday evening at Nyapara Ibere village in Kitutu Chache South, Kisii County.
Elizabeth Kwamboka said she has been suspecting her husband, Obed Nyananga of having an illicit love affair with their neighbor’s wife whose husband is working outside the country.
“I have always doubted my husband having an affair with Esther Bochaberi who is lives alone after her husband went to Qatar 1 year ago. I found my husband having sex with the woman in a small bush few meters away from a water spring where we fetch water,” she said.
Kwamboka said she raised alarm prompting the two to flee from the scene.
Area assistant chief, Simon Ondigo said elders have been warning the man to stop chasing the woman for love but in vain.
“This is not the first time Nyananga has been warned to stop making love with the married woman. He has gone into hiding because of the shame he is bringing to his family. We will have to search him and give him strokes of canes if that is what he needs to stop chasing people’s wives in the village,” he said.
Ondigo called on married women who have been left home by their husband to be faithful and stop having other men outside the wedlock.
