A catholic Bishop from Gusii region has men to stop 'slaughtering' women.
Joseph Mairura, while speaking on Saturday at Nyabururu Parish, said it is sad that men have been killing women when love goes sour.
"It is a sin to kill. Men slaughtering women when love goes sour must stop. There are amicable ways which can be used to solve marital differences and not eliminating someone," he said.
The Bishop regretted that married men have been engaging in extra-marital affairs instead of being faithful in their marriages.
"Prayers are need so much to ensure temptations leading men and women to commit adultery comes to an end. Adultery is a sin before the eyes of the Lord," he added.
He called on police officers to be more vigilant and ensure the increasing cases of men slaughtering women in the name of love are thwarted.
According to the Bishop, it is high time people should dedicate their lives to God before the return of Jesus Christ.
Mairura urged politicians to be at the forefront spreading peace for the purpose of ensuring the electorates are living in peace, unity and harmony.
