For the past couple of days, social media went on fire after pictures allegedly of Churchill in handcuffs leaked online.
In a photo that was seen by this writer, comedian Churchill could be seen being led by a lone police officer in uniform.
The drama never ended there as popular online blogs in Mombasa took up the issue, claiming he had just been arrested after staging the 'Churchill Show' live performance.
And as the news spread like a bushfire, Mediamax's Spice was forced to seek a clarification from the world-class TV and radio host, who disclosed that it was just a prank.
As quoted by the MediaMax's network, the police officer in uniform was none other than Man Dilly who was just creating fun after meeting with his long lost friend Daniel Ndambuki alias Churchill.
"...Man Dilly intimated that the two met during Churchill’s show in Mombasa and chose to pull the stunt on the comedian, who later realised, the arrest was a hoax," MediaMax wrote on its news website
Before the picture found its way into social media, Churchill with his contingent of talented comedians had travelled to Mombasa town for a live show recording.
