Monday came in with news that Safaricom CEO Mr Bob Collymore has resumed his duties at the telecommunication after being away on extended medical leave.
The announcement first broke on Collymore's Twitter handle where he also thanked all those who stood with him while he was going through his treatment.
"I am back, thanks to everyone who supported me over the past nine months especially the clinical team at the University College London Hospital (UCLH). Thanks to my superb Safaricom team and of course my wife Wambui Kamiru," reads Collymore's tweet.
Later on Monday, Collymore was spotted appearing before a National Assembly committee on Communication.
